This is a question for all y'all that have played the game already.

What happens, say if I play as France and invade Scotland or say Cairo.Would the inhabitants hold any grudge against me as an invader? How long would it last?Does it end?Does it vary depending on what nation you take over?

Another question is about control of the Seas, how is that determined?More like Civ . i.e you build a ship and try to take as many enemy ships with you or what..

Just wanna know. Thanks for the help

Normally, for some time after a province is conquered that province will have an automatic base revolt risk. Thus, a conquering power can expect to have to put down several rebellions until the inhabitants of that province accept their rule. However, core provinces do not have an automatic revolt risk after being taken.

What do you mean 'how is control of the seas determined'? Nations that possess at least one province with a port are able to build fleets that can be used to transport troops, attack enemy fleets, explore unknown sea lanes, and blockade enemy coastal provinces.

ther's a difference between civ and eu, in civ you build ONE ship and that's the fleet you move around, but in eu your fleets are a combination of one to many ships.

If you annex a province, there will be a higher revolt risk for thirty years, decreasing every ten years.

You can move your fleet in sea zones, where they will fight ennemy navies if any. When you control a sea zone, and with enough naval tech level, you will blockade the costal provinces, decreasing revenues and supply in them.

There are no apparent reason to be in control of the sea....

If you have a weak army, and is located on an island (England) it's powerfull to sink invading armies before they get to your shores....

If you are located in the main Europe and you build your colonies to being able to defend them self early (build up an army) the land tech is far more important than the sea tech.....

There are of course many ideas on this so don't take this for the only way ;-)
