Okay so is there ever a hard cap on the amount of pops you can have on a planet or will they just keep overcrowding your planets?

If you are authoritarian you can also enact a decision to stop population growth entirely, it will shift your pop growth number straight to other planets through immigration.
Okay cool, I like playing small empires so having a lot of pops is still new to me. Even after over 1000 hours in the game this new update still has me spinning. I'll try Authoritarian next time around.
