Pope has excommunicated... himself?

Hi everyone, I want to ask your opinion about an event that has just happened to me. I don't know if it is a bug, or it is me just interpretating the notification wrong.

In the notification, it says Pope (Bohemia) has just excommunicated Bohemia, and the Curia screen says the controller is Poland. Shouldn't notification appear as "Pope (Poland) has excommunicated Bohemia". If the notification is correct, it means that Pope has excommunicated himself

Looks like a bug. You should post up a report and save in the bug forum.

I assumed it was a hilarious bug were the pope actually excomunicated himself, but instead it's just a boring UI bug

Its a dev cheat so that podebrad can be excommunicated without using up the excommunication slot
