Helloha!
I don't know whether this is a bug or a "feature", but when Charlemagne conquered the Lombardy and changed the title to the Kingdom of Italy some of my land was handed over without warning to the Papal State. There was no "event" in any of the logs to notify me that his had happened just, *poof*, now owned by the Pope!
The counties in question are Spoleto and Urbino. Both are de jure Kingdom of Italy, and I am Duke of both Spoleto and Ancona, which makes my new liege lor Charlemagne. What is strange is that both of these counties are in different de jure Duchies - Urbino de jure Ancona, and Spoleto obviously de jure Spoleto.
So not only have these counties been split through Kingdom de jure, but Duchy de jure.
Apprutium, de jure Spoleto, was previously held by the Duke of Benevento, but when Chalemagne conquered Italy, Benevento became independent, being de jure Sicily.... BUT Apprutium was handed over to Charlemagne who now holds it as part of his demense, I can only assume this is because Apprutium is de jure Italy.
Ferrara and Ravenna also became possessions of the Papal State.
Soooooo..... feature or bug?
