Could someone clear up what the political parties are, and a brief nutshell of what they stand for? From the quick desciption in the party HQs, I couldn't tell who ws right and left wing.

Are there no new political parties?

Barrister Boy,

The Free Republicans are a center-right political party. Pro-Free Market, Pro Republican/Federalist Government. Generally right wing on social issues. Moderate on Environmental issues and moderately hawkish on Defense. Pro Common Market, Pro UN, Pro NATO.

More or less we occupy the position of the CDA in the first version, though the Free Republicans are more Chicago-School economically than its predecessor, which was more old-school Keynesian economically.

All parties from Eutopia 1 got deleted, so all Eutopia 2 parties are new.

At the moment, the only officially registered party is the Rally for Democracy - a party of the Left influenced by the old NURA, ESP and SLP.

Other parties currently being organized are the Free Republicans (see shawn's post :)), the Libertarian Party (in favour of minimal government), and the Nordic Liberation Party (advocacy party for the Nordic minority).

Don't let our non-registered status scare you off. We're VERY close to applying for registration. In fact, if you join with us, We can march down to the central office this evening. ;)

In fact, don't let it scare you off at all, we just registered at the central office.

The EUtopian Reform party (ERP) has been formed. Please feel free to browse our proposals. We are here on the scale:

---I---I---II---I---I---
----------*-------------

Slight left/centrist.
Bascically we have 5 pillars-Economy, Environment, Internal Affairs, Health and Education. We are centrist on economy, and Environment, Right on Internal affairs, and Left on Health and education. Have a look at our party HQ (in my sig)
