Political map without Fog of War?

Hi, longtime fan of EU2, finally got back into it now that I have more time on my hands, and was looking at the demo of FtG.

Something I was wondering, is there any way to have the political map look like the one from EU2? That is with no shadows over fog-of-war lands -- album for comparison:

I suppose it was changed because the political map is now playable, but, what about when the units are off? Currently I have to go into options and turn off fog entirely if I want a screencap or just to view the map with everything bright...

I'm not sure if it works in the demo version, but in the latest one, double clicking on the political map's button let's you see it brightly (without the troops). Otherwise you have to turn the FoW off as you said.

Awesome, probably just that the demo's unpatched then.
