Hello,

I do know that DH is a game, which should simulate the war, however it would be very interesting if some more politics were integrated into the game.
Would it be possible to include some parties fighting for the force in democratic states and some factions fighting for the force in autocratic, one-party-states?
I was thinking about the Party system of "Victoria: Revolutions" and this is quite easy - Some parties with clearly defined interests.

If the ministers would just stand for several parties with several interests (positive and negative ones) the inner politics of the own country would be much more interesting. There would be coalitions, more interesting votings in democratic states etc. ....
To be honest, I do not think that an idea like mine will be chosen to improve the game, however ... are there any plans to improve the politics?
Because right now, a minister, who would do anything against war, can be the leader of the greatest war machine if the player just wants him to.
And this is kinda ... crazy.

I wrote a suggestion for what the HoI3 political system SHOULD have been like somewhere on the forums....in short:
-Good economy = ruling party + support
-Bad economy = opposing ideology + support
-Defensive war = + national unity, + ruling party support
-Failing war = - national unity, - ruling party support, + opposing party support
-Offensive war = + ruling party support (patriotism, war propoganda)
-Long offensive war = - ruling party support

Ministers and country ideology changes based on part support if democratic. If authoritarian, possibility of coup increases.

Cept...DH doesn't have the HoI3 political system...

Yeah, that's the point! The component of a political system is just not existing in DH. And that's why I think that those improvements won't be made or are at least very hard to do - It's just not implemented into the game.

I can't play HoI3 because of my old pc, however I do agree to Limith.
If the "war" and the "political situation" would depend on each other, there would be one really important point that would make the game way more realistic.
Btw: I am very happy with the game as it is (Not laggy :D), however I think that politics would make this game really awesome.

So: Are there any ideas or plans mady by the Developers?

Neither the intelligence system was in HOI2 of the 2005, so why can't the modders implement politics...
