yea it seems it took him 2 days to translate everything except the events... either he did not do a good job or there was not a lot of work in it (in that case CD projekt should go shut itself down)...

OMG! The screens he posted look surprisingly good, so probably his version might be acceptable.
I'll send him a letter and ask whether he still needs some help. If it's really that simple, maybe it's just a matter of Paradox localizing the map (Spiff province!!!) and we'd have a genuine, fan-made polish language version... It would definitely be better than CDProjekt translations. Contrary to those guys, the community is really interested in history...

BTW, is there a way to check whether the game I have is original or not? I asked one of my friends to buy it for me in the UK and all I got was the cd. No box, no instructions, nothing but a cd (which looks somehow original, but still I'm not sure).

Hmm...If it is going about distribution in Poland - I have some propositions: let's send some mails to computer magazines ( for eg. CD - Action, CD - Projekt has distributed the HoI after the article about HoI in this magazine ) and to CD - Projekt - a lot of mails to CD - Projekt, maybe the voice of people will be a decisive in this cause ( I've bought recently an original version of HoI, partially to send the CD - Projekt the registeration card with words " Distribute the Victoria"...it must works

You know - 51 USD is a high price for the person, which study in high school... and the chosing between 51 USD or 5,5 USD and moral hangover isn't a fair choise, it's just sucks
Amazon price is 23 USD, but we still aren't a full European Union member, and after today's events in Bruiseiles, I suppose that it's not the minor problem - if I would like to buy Vicky from Amazon, I would have to wait 3 months and collect every money I would get in my hands, and finally order it... I've to think - such savings could kill my budget
I also respect Paradox - my EU, EU II and HoI are 100 % originals - that can sound ridiculously for somebody from USA or GB but in Poland majority of software cames from piracy - and lack of distributor is the best advert for a pirate - "Hey guys, you cannot buy it in store, but you can buy it from me "

hmm...51 CAD = about 147 polish zloty's - it looks much better than 210 zl - 140 - 150 zl is the base price of hits on the polish market, so the only problem I have is how to ship it from Canada to Poland - hmm... my father has family in Canada - maybe with some subsidies from his pockect + a little cooperation from the west part of globe, I'll get this game in 2 - 3 months - ehh, I'll talk with my father about it tomorrow..
