Poland get guaranteed by Lithuania

In 2 out of 3 Games Poland and Lithuania makes an alliance before the German Invasion of Poland, around July.

That makes playing historical pointless cause it always ends in a War between the allies and Russia.

Is that a bug? Can I stop that from happening?

In my games as Germany Lithuania (historical focusses) guarantees Poland. I play also historical, but I do take Yugoslavia via focus. Only way I found to prevent Lithuania joining the allies is do the "Danzig or war" focus before declaring war, the Guarantee is gone after that. Bypassing it after declaring does not work.

I've had this issue too. Playing as Germany, Historical Focuses checked and I'm going down the historical path. I complete Danzig or War and declare on Poland but the mutual guarantee between POL and LIT remains ergo LIT joins the Allies. I understand the guarantee is supposed to go away and that is the case for many people, but twice now it hasn't for me. Could it be a bug?

I must have started literally 100's of games playing as germany and i've never seen this happen once.

Weirdest thing i've seen happen is uk + france not guarantee poland, but thats happened only once!
