Poland and Lithuania: PU forever?

In my current game with Russia I wanted to kill the PU between Poland and Lithuania. I dropped Poland into a war and fought against them until they had something around -70 prestige and I could took a few provinces from Lithuania. Polands king died at -67 prestige, but the PU still exists after the death.

Is this WAD in 1.5?
