Poblem of screen resolution

Hi. I was faced with the problem of screen resolution. On my new computer it is 1920x1080. When you set the appropriate resolution in the game launcher game itself skewed, and the computer gave a message about changing the optimal resolution.Is there any way to solve this problem?

PS Sorry, I'm not a native speaker and therefore can do the annoying bugs in the message.

Hi! Unfortunately I've never heard of this problem before, so I cannot give you an answer right away.
Question: you've added a screenshot of the main menu. If you start a new game or load a savegame, is the game still "skewed" after the game starts?

Also, can you please list your Windows video settings?

It happens on both. The buttons are obscured so I can't really start the game. Here's an image.

Actually, I can barely see the "start" button in the bottom right, can you press it as a workaround?

For the video settings, go to the Desktop and right click on an empty spot, check the menu that appears. At the bottom there should be "video settings" or something like that.

Well, I can see the mouse and I can see the button, perhaps if you try you can place the mouse on the button and press it.

It's a wild guess, but try changing the "scale" from 125% to 100%.

Your suggestion about changing the scale worked, but i'm still having problems with the game. Specifically, I'm having trouble with the Kaiserreich mod. I have the mod AND the game up to date, but when I load the game one of those two always reverts to an outdated version of itself in the checksum. I have 1.9 Kaiserreich that is listed as 1.7. I have the 1.05.1 hotfix for DH. I don't know if this is really the place for it, or if I should bug the Kaiserreich guys... but I figured I might as well try. The game always crashes a few minutes in.

The reverse also happens, with Darkest Hour sometimes being listed as the 4.0 version and Kaiserreich being listed as 1.9

I think there's only one explanation: you have 2 different installation of DH on your computer. The launcher probably loads a different version than the one in C:\Darkest Hour. Just check where the launcher is and you'll find it.

Edit: Now it gets stuck on the loading screen. Between picking my nation and the game's starting date.

If you're referring to a mod, you should check in the mod thread. KR 1.7 doesn't work with DH 1.05.1.

But what you describe sometimes happens when there's an hidden error dialog. Alt-Tabbing out and then back in sometimes shows the error dialog.
