Yes that's potential people that they can mobilize. You honestly think you can sit there and tell someone that North Korea could field an army of around 6 million people, and keep them fed and supplied with ammunition? And this is after they try and arm that many of them. Hell I take that back, I was 11,000,000 people over the population with regard to North Korea. They've got aroudn 22,000,000 people. About half of them are going to be women. That leaves about 11,000,000 men roughly. You gotta than figure about half of that number is going to be men over the age of 45 and children up to the age of 16. That's about 6,000,000 people than roughly for them to use. That's their entire adult male population. They couldn't sustain their country if they conscripted everyone.

Waffen is correct, NK could not possibly mobilize 7 million people. If you read what it says on globalsecurity.org, it will say that the 7 million "reserve" consists of nearly the entire male population.

Well, people I am here to tell you something you should know but don't know and won't admit it or you are blind to facts. I always see people on internet forums talking about North Korea and Iraq and other countries. I see people telling others how big this countries military is or how many nuclear weapons that country has or if this country can beat that country in a war. Well, listen up. You do not know who has what. You do not know how many men North Korea can mobilize and feed. You do not know the size of China's military or how technologically advanced they are compared to the US. You do not know if the US air force can beat the Chinese airforce. You do not know that the US can beat North Korea in a war. All you know is what you read and hear. These are all your opinions and the opinions of others or they are lies intended to be lies and intended to make people think they are the truth. That is all they are. Everyone has an opinion and some are more understandable than others. Some make sense while others only make sense to the person who has that opinion. Some people come on internet forums and site so-called facts. Let me ask you one question. Do you honestly think that some internet site or some book has all the so-called facts on North Korea's military or Russia's economy? You come in here and site so-called facts and these aren't facts. These are the opinions of the person or people you obtained these facts from, they are intended to be lies, or they are an estimation of what truth they have, if any.. I am getting really sick and tired of people posting that North Korea can't feed a 6 million man army or Russia cannot fund a large scale war or that Saddam Hussein was as terrible a man as some countries have said he was. These are opinions, not facts. No one knows how terrible Saddam was or even if he was an evil man. No one knows how many men North Korea can mobilize and feed. No one knows if the United States can defeat China in an all out war and so on. So please, stop stating your opinions and the opinions of an internet site or a book as facts and the truth. No country is going to let others know what they can do military wise and no country is going to tell the people the truth. I hope you understand what I wrote and I hope you think about this the next time your going to post "facts" from some internet site or a book. Thanks

Yes you raise some valid points Confederate I'll not dispute that. And for one no one said I believe that the U.S. could take China in an all out war. Merely their airforce yes, assuming it's at the levels it's been witnessed at. We do have sattelites you know that are capable of seeing these things. And yes we know the state of North Korea's economy as well as Russia's. The world trade system and currency value is all reflected on that. The general state of the countries. Things like this you can see. With regards to Saddam how can you not say he was an evil man? It's a proven fact that his government used chemical weapons and killed innocent people. Doesn't that make him evil? Is there a level of evilness? Evil is evil. I could care less what he did but the fact remains that yes whli many things are opinionated, just as many can easily be proven.

We have only heard about Saddam killing innocent people. Yet, I ask you. Is there any proof that the american public can see? Sure, there are people saying that Saddam did evil things. Sure, the American government and other governments say he was evil. However, do people still believe everything their government tells them? On to the subject of the Chinese Airforce. Yes, we have better technology and yes we would most likely win. (I say most likely) However this is not a fact since it hasnt happened yet. That is just an opinion. The Chinese are strong in heart and military and to say they would lose on any scale is an opinion and IMO a very poor opinion. While the United States is mostly always labeled the only superpower in the world, I disagree with that. I believe China is also a superpower and in 20 years they will pass us up. With the direction the United States is going I would not be surprised. One thing I do know is a fact, is that when this mod gets released I am going to play Russia and conquer Europe and then go to war with North Korea and China. Cya

Obviously no American has witnessed the chemical attack reports, but it is extremely well documented that they were used in the Iran-Iraq war. Not only against soldiers but against Iranian civilians. I've never said we could take China militarily, merely that we would win in the air more than likely almost a certainty and navally it's no contest. Landwar is a completely different subject. Short of a mass conscription program and the ability to arm ourselves and train ourselves to regular military standards than I don't see how we could win unless we had aid from allies attacking in several places at once. We would just be bogged down, to many Chinese :) I think it would be quite fun to rebuild the Russian bear and unleash it upon the upstarts :)

Again, we're getting on slippery ground here... Disputing the fact that Saddam mass-killed people is 1) revisionism and 2) better suited for the OT...

So i'll say this for the final (i mean it) time, keep your posts here on the situation of NK in the game... The next time i need to intervene here, it'll be to close this thread...
