Hi, I'm confused about plurality, I thought it was a good thing, but it raises militancy A LOT. Does it have to do with that I've been a presidental dictatorship for 100 years now? I have no idea how to become a democracy too...

Plurality is only good for pure democracies. You can turn to one by setting the ruling party to a non extreme one which will change your goverment type..then enact free parties and the democracy events should fire.

Thanks, that worked.. peace once returns to Orange Freestate. :)

Another question, a factory always need 1 clerk pop to run right? they took a lot time to actually go to work in that factory, instead of being unemployed.

You have to put the POPs into the factories, they do not just go into the factories themselves.

And a factory will work with only craftsmen, but it will be less efficient in terms of its production than if you have 1 or 2 clerk pops per level of factory.

the optimal balance is 3 craft POPs to 2 Clerk POps per level of factory.

You can't put them in, when it's the only factory in the state right?

But I see that's the problem than, I don't think my country had any craftsmen.

Also, now a radical party won the election, and immediatly abolished the democracy. It's really annoying because they keep doing it, I can ban other parties but not that one because it's in power.

to escape the cycle, first reform parties to Right to Ban, this should bring all other parties back.

then appoint a liberal or conservative party to power.

then make reforms to reinstitute a more democratic system.

you should then get the event that transforms you back to a democracy.

Hold an election. During the election, ban the radical party.

Note, while this will fix the problem, it will produce something around 1.5-2.0 increase in militancy for all pops, so if you have militancy issues, it could get messy after the election.

And remember that every party you ban in Revolutions produces a constant +0.10 militancy boost to all POPs. Banning parties is really not a good thing to do if you can avoid it.

There is an auto-assign feature on by default, IIRC. Or did Rev kill that?

Of course, that only works when the POP can be assigned to work in the factory, and a clerk can't be assigned to a craftsman-less factory.

It's still working.
