Pls help I don't know what this is!

Hello there,
i've recently started the game after a new patch and something was different. My territory was split and there is this hole in my country,
through which I can't walk. It only says that those are collonialnations, but I don't know whose (btw, those "colonialnations" are all over the world, not only in my territory).
Later (in the second image) there is Italy in my territory, and I don't know why. Ifought against them in the war, but the war is over and I was on the winners side. By the way they are communist (the Sowiet Union puppetet them) and I am fascist (if that helps in any way).
I'm looking forward to an answer

To get proper help, please post this in the HoI4 subforum.

I think this is because the patch updated the map, and those new states don't have a listed owner. I believe you can't get around this without starting a new game. The people in HoI 4 subforum may be able to help you more.
