Hello everyone :)

I know that in CSL there are ploppable buildings like the monuments but... Will normal buildings (residential, for example) be able to be plopped?
From my point of view it is very nice, in Cities XL, the ability to plop every single building because we can build up some parts, or the whole city, exactly like we want it to be.
I want to have the choice.
What do you say?

I don't think zoned buildings are plopped. Only anything bigger than the 4x4 zoned areas (skyscrapers, monuments..) or civic/service buildings (bus depot and stops, clinic..) are plopped. I don't think it will be too hard to mod in though.

You cannot plop zoned buildings I believe. However in Simcity 2013 somebody made a mod that allows all zoned buildings to be plopped like monuments and utilities. I'm hoping this is made possible in this game as well.

Though all I really want is for modders to be capable of making ploppable buildings that mimic functionality of zoned ones, so I can plop down a nice 8x4 apartment building in my residential area and have it function the same way as if I had zoned it. This functionality would make the 4x4 max size issue much less of a big deal to me.

it was the same in sc4 but IMO it's really a hassel trying to navigate thorugh 100 of buildings to find the right one.

Definitely would be tedious building an entire city like that, but if it's just a few buildings here and there to make my city look more diverse than a bunch of 4x4s then I would absolutely love the option.
