"Please support me in the Council..."

I started to play again CK2 after a break. I have all of the expansions activated and I'm playing as Ivrea in a 768 start.

I'm in King Desiderius' Council as Chancellor, and the Royal Council is empowered. Another councilman approached me asking to support him in the Council in exchange for a favor. Is there a way to know what I'm supporting if I agree? (possibly a Law, I think, either pro or against).

I checked the Wiki, but I found no answer.

I think it's pretty much an open check to support whatever they decide to do.

It makes sense... in a sense An option to support or deny a specific agenda would be cool, however: it would be realistic too, and I could try to sink something I don't like.

You will vote like the other counciman, no matter the issue, no matter your personal opinion on the subject.
However since you'll get a favor from him, you will be able to force him to vote like you right after the council support ends

The only trick there is, you might not be able to use that favor on him. Other interesting ways to use a favor is:
- force marriage to get claims on them
- force them to join your faction
- make them vote like you ON ANYTHING - e.g. if the council has imprisonment or war authority, call a favor on half of the council at the same time, and you should have peace of mind for 3 years (unless your liege decides to go against the council, but I find that fairly rare)
