Please rethink the unlocks for CK3

So? I will be playing that game quite a lot I imagine and it would suck not to be able to get those.

I'd like them to stop carving out parts of the game to feed a hype machine.
I started the Monarch's Journey just to try something new. It's fun having the little mini-missions a la EUIV.
The game isn't in ironman, it's in 'bronzeman', and since it allows multiple saves, I have to be honest I'm not even really sure what it's preventing the player from doing. No console, maybe?

Rather have rewards such as this come from completing a gameplay challenge in CK2 rather than being a pre-order "reward".
The current challenge is pretty mild on the difficulty scale too, there's a lot more complicated positions in CK2 than playing in Britanny.

There may be some game rules that switch it off, as with Ironman. Haven't tested that. But I'd expect that console use or changes to the checksum will invalidate it, same as with Ironman.
Probably doesn't give Ironman achievements either (speculation, untested).
I'd not expect things to get TOO difficult, since this is partially being used to get new players interested and a lot of them will only have vanilla and maybe Old Gods.
Getting 5 sons without Way of Life can be tricky in one lifetime. I'd also not expect many new players to think of swearing fealty to the winner in England or even to France, so they are likely to hit a wall in terms of the conquest challenge.

It's not what I rather would, I and other's with me have other obligations. Also I love ck2 but I mostly play with mods.
So you absolutely cannot live without some hairstyles in a video game?

Are there going to be features for CK3 unlocked only if we play Ironman CK2? I didn't read about any such thing, so I asked. Would you be so kind to enlighten me, please?

Well, to be fair, CKII would be unplayable for me without the portrait packs. They are important imho. But it's not like they're unobtainable, is it?
My understanding is that certain cosmetic features of ck3are locked behind playing certain iron man scenarios in ck2.
This anoys me to an irrational degree.
I understand it is a form of marketing, but I find it stupid and unnecessary. I hate the way modern games are craved up and given out piecemeal. I don't care if they want micro transactions, likes on Facebook, me to buy dorritos, or spend my time playing other titles. I just want to buy a compleat game and enjoy it the way I want to.
Some people are offended that I am expressing my annoyance with this on the forums, and that's OK, but it's making me realise I'm no longer the target demographic for pdx, and that makes me sad.
But, life goes on.

I'm angry they are carving out parts of the game. Even trivial things like this. I want to be able to buy the whole game. Not miss out on even the smallest part. I'm pretty sure the person who created the cosmetics wants as many people as possible to enjoy them as part of the game.
If cosmetics don't matter why isn't the game just a spreadsheet?
