Just because the father was a bastard or lowborn doesn't mean the kid should have it easier to find his way into e.g. the Plantagenet, Salian or Isauros clan. On the contrary, you should probably be of quite some seriously high/impeccable birth to play biofather for such dynasties.
Just basically give the illegit bastard a new Fitz dynasty, while preserving the possibility of legitimizing him and changing it (for him and any descendants). There is no need for him really to have your own house name for the duration of his life, especially if he can't pass it on to his kids anyway.
