The it is a game that stretches my borg mind, improves my managing skills, teaches me alot about history, helps me understand the mindset of certain leaders, and that I can enjoy playing with people I care about. How about you?
i play solo cuz i like strat and history. but you know what i dont like? getting bent over and diddled in the @ by a company that should treat me better since i am one of their games biggest fans.

I just want to play a game to the end.. Just so i can know what happens at the end. This Venice game is pretty good and with the two Dlcs i have makes it even better. So things are looking good. my Ottoman game was good until well Venice showed up and yeah.
Republics are fun..Just sad with Venice i cant become dictator
The end game is one of the funnest bits but its no fun unless you have had to fight your way to become a global superpower (gotta love that admin efficiency)I just want to play a game to the end.. Dictator is not fun IMO... The only good bonus of re election is the monarch points. In my experience, each time I form a Lord Protector dictator, he dies a year or so later, and bad heir. lol

I think I am missing a Dlc..Because if i do that Rebels will spawn to try to bring back the Republic.. Or maybe that is suppose to happen anyway and defeat them and become dictator..not like the Doge lasts long after a third election.. But still I will see i did it once while at war but elected someone right after. But lets see how long i can keep one in power and what happens.
I am thinking of trying to do a Wc as Venice.. Not a fast one but a slow paced one.. I mean why not.. Or maybe i should set up colonies in the new world lol.

Look when you put me down and hate on me and follow me throughout every thread, how can you say you are treating me fairly? I even started a normal thread that u mussed up. thanks for making this community a place where people can voice their opinions. Look i realize u love bending over for the big P. but i personally have had enough of it and i want to tell people they dont need to pay 20$ every couple months for this freemiumware.

Are Monarch points the Admin ones ? or am I missing a Dlc that allows me to form a Dictatorship.. I have Wealth of nations and Res Publica.. So maybe i am missing another one ?.

Well... you don't. I only have 1 DLC (that I payed $2.50 for) and I enjoy this game as much as anybody. 'the big P' values statistics of the whole population over the vocal minority in the forums so if you really care that much... put your money were your mouth is
Whenever you reelect someone, it gets +1/+1/+1. So when you elect a doge first, it's 4/1/1 or 1/4/1 or 1/1/4 depending on your choice. But if you elect him again, he will be 5/2/2 or 2/5/2 or 2/2/5. This is what he means by monarch points.
The "downside" of reelecting the same guy is lowering republican tradition, which brings troubles (gives you more unrest and makes increasing stability extremely costly). However, once republican tradition becomes low enough your current ruler may enter a dictatorship and no further elections will be held until his death. I also believe dictatorship has some chance of turning into real monarchy, but I'm not sure how and when.
BTW, You are not missing a DLC. Art of War isn't required for republic mechanisms to function. Actually when I had only vanilla I still switched between monarchy and republic fine.
