Just as a brief background I've played most of Paradox's grand strategy games and I have enjoyed each installation now and in the past. I have played this game since launch and have been less than happy with the state of the game (even by paradox's buggy release standards) due to several issues of the core system.

However, let's get to the point. My issue at the moment, having come back to the game after months of absence, is with the peace conference in the game. I played my first game as monarchist germany and after having beaten the soviets I found that I still cannot (after years of this game from release) create new puppet states and split nations like what happened in real life. The only occasion that happens now is with east and west germany through events but there's no other way to do it with any other nation so my only option now is mass annex up to the urals and puppet the rest of russia. This means I cannot set up a situation where the german empire creates new puppets out of the Russian heartland while also leaving the USSR alive in siberia and giving some land in the east to Japan.

So, please paradox improve the conference mechanics because imo this should be one of the vital parts of a ww2 game especially with all the complicated treaties they had at the time. I know you have done this for your other games such as in EU4 where you can create custom client states. Please add that same feature so we can make custom puppets out of defeated nations! Thanks.
