Basically, title.

I know that to some people, a lot of the fun from Stellaris is on its randomness and I do like it, from time to time. However, I really like the preset empires. Personally, I like their background, appearance and general balance: games with all of them are never pacifists-only or fascist-only. However, since we can't force-spawn them, we have to clone-edit them to force them to appear - while limiting player number so they don't appear doubled - not allowing huge games with them AND random empires.

Is it possible to add the "Empire Spawning Forced" option on preset empires? If not, does anyone know how to mod the game to force them to appear?

You can do it yourself easily, just have to edit a single text file.
Find the pregenerated file in the stellaris directory (can't recall the exact name, it has it's own sub folder though), open it up with something like notepad ++ and change the spawn option "yes" to "always" to force spawn them.

Nice! Thanks for the help. This changed the checksum for me, so no achievements. :(
