First of all, it would be interesting challenge to face all of them
Second, intercations between contingency, swarm and unbidden would make game much deeper (they should be allowed to fight each-other)
Third, It will make endgame much more intensive.

At least, I wish there is a button in allowing multiple crisises to spawn in the same game.
Too hard to face them all at once? Add timer after crisis begin, halting other crisises for 50-100 years.

TLDR version:

"Allow multiple crisises" button
[YES / NO]

"Minimum Delay between crisises" slider (activated when "Allow multiple crisises" value is YES)
NONE for no hardcoded value (crisis could start whenever conditions are met),
SHORT for 20-50 years,
MEDIUM for 50-100 years,
LONG for 100-150 years,
RANDOM for 0-150 years

What do you think? :)

IMO this feels like something that should remain the domain of mods. The Crisis events already have enough bugs- I'd rather they got ironed out and given more personality and depth individually than thrown in a big pot and made more unreliable and watered-down in personality.

The problem is the game would start to be balanced around the expectation that you should be able to defeat all 3 crisis on very hard. If people feel the current crisis is too easy, why not try to defeat them without half gamey fleet compositions or distracting there fleets?

I would rather lose the game some of the time than be sure that I will always win every time I play. We need the game to be more challenging, not less. And the improvements to the AI are already making quite a difference from how it was a year ago. Hopefully that process will continue.

I'm sure some players will feel it would be terribly unfair if they had to fight three crises at once, but they don't have to select that option.

I suggest adding option to allow all crisises in one game.

If you use the console to spawn more than one they do fight.

Can't remember which one wins.

Think it's the Swarm because any habitable not just inhabited planet is useful for them and they snowball hardest.

what? no. the game isn't balanced around 25% habitable worlds, or 5x crisis strength, or max empires + max advanced starts + insane + aggressive, even though all those options exist. why would the option to have 3 crises in one game be something you have to balance around. all paradox has to do is make it a non-default option and wash their hands of it.

There's already a 5x crisis strength modifier available and you definitely can not defeat that :)

Fully agree, cool for the sake of cool is a approach that work fine for mods but the official game need be built in more depth and solid bases.
Before a option for multiple crisis be available we need:

1- A better AI for coordination of fleets during wars and during crisis.

2- Have more content to mid and late game (prolonging the mid game), because defeat the first crisis in 2400's and waiting for a second crisis would be pointless in the current version of the game.

3- More differences between the crisis, unbiddens and prethoryns are very similar (the most relevant difference is the fleet design that counter their fleets).

4- Special interactions between the crisis would be nice too, but this is not a pre-requisite for the multiple crisis option work, the 3 reasons above are pre-requisites.

5x crisis OPTION have more impact on game then multiple crisises... much more. And adding X5 slider never required such preparations...

5x crisis have 0 relations with my arguments.
Simply add a multiple crisis button in practice would be a amateurish work with extradimensionals shooting in biological monsters and all mechanics barely interaging and working together and having 0 depthenss.
The game is not a mod. Multiple crisis is a cool thing but we need first a AI that known what do in a multiple crisis situation and more relevant differences between the 3 crisis.

What they can do is the same thing they can do when there's only 1 crisis, put aside their differences and band against the crisis. For all intent and purpose the AI should treat multiple crisises as just more of the same wave of doom washing over the galaxy.

Yes, but currently we have the problem that AIs have difficulties banding together to fight the crisis.
Your defensive pacts and federations are useless because the AI react just to the mutual threat modifiers for example.
And the AI have difficulties understanding the necessity of rebuild a powerful fleet to fight a crisis once the their initial fleet have been destroyed.

It is separate problem, and it is not impacting "multicrisis" option more then other, already existing aspects of the game. We already have "Crisis x5" which have all possible issues of "Multicrisis" - and nobody is asking for removal of this OPTION because of broken AI...

As I wrote in first post, best option is one button and one slider - and everyone will be happy.
