I can understand not wanting to work on a unique UI element for something as tiny as a single civic.
They also have a unique UI element for when you turn fully synthetic, where you can choose your transcended pops' new name and everything. They did THAT, so why not do the same + add portrait choosing for the Syncretic Evolution civic?I can understand not wanting to work on a unique UI element for something as tiny as a single civic.
I was thinking something similar, though I was planning on doing a alternate Commonwealth Of Man that discovered and "uplifted/""technologically enlightened"(whichever term fits best with Stellaris's lore) a native sapient species on Unity.I hope this becomes the case; I was looking forward to doing a human/neanderthal RP game.
Uplifting means genetic modification to turn a species sentient/sapient.I was thinking something similar, though I was planning on doing a alternate Commonwealth Of Man that discovered and "uplifted/""technologically enlightened"(whichever term fits best with Stellaris's lore) a native sapient species on Unity.
In their defense. A lot of civics are fairly miniscule. Getting proles whom you can mod to be industrious later on is huge. It's arguably one of the best civics in terms of raw production. Much better than -20 unrest. It is reasonable, given that we're permanently sacrificing a civic slot to get them.
Dude, they were genetically engineered to be War Tortoises! While it's interesting how my xenophobic Star Empire humans got tortoises as their syncretic warrior slave race (and they look pretty strong too), it would've been cooler to be able to choose a mammalian species. And they shouldn't be called "Kammarians", "War Tortoise" sounds far more threatening. Yes, my xenophobic humans are literally using war tortoises in the 23rd century.
TLDR: Still want syncretic portrait and name to be by choice.
. And they shouldn't be called "Kammarians",
Dude, they were genetically engineered to be War Tortoises!
That's a bad reason thoughThis is honestly the only reason I haven't bought Utopia yet.
Completely agree with this request. My glorious space foxes had some kind of mollusc creature as a secondary species.....ughh...
