Please let Faction Leaders be the ONLY one that can declare war or invite to join wars.

Last game, as Germany I used my spies to make Finland Facist.... during the Winter War between Russia and Finland., Finland joined the Axis. During the battle of France, Italy was supporting Finland and Russia was not going to walk all over Finland. During the battle of France, I notice Hungry (Axis partner) was at war with Russia.

Italy loves it invite everyone and their mother into a war after Germany allows them to join the Axis.... I like to play historical until Russia Falls and mostly follow those timelines when I play Germany. I wish Paradox would fix this..... sigh...

3. Once they declare independance war they will ALWAYS join Allies
Congratulations! if you forgot\cannot enact "Fraternal Republic" they you will be always in war with Allies and Axis!

why did you let them join the Axis during the winter war?

It is already a significant detriment to be part of a faction in SP HOI 4 mechanically. It does not need to be made arbitrarily even worse.

This is clearly a fault of you not planning your moves carefully enough.

It is obvious that you never did this or gave it an attempt.... When the Winter War is over (White Peace) You are no longer allowed to invite Finland into the Faction... current game had 53% Fascist....

why did you let them join the Axis during the winter war?

Because you are unable to invite after White Peace has been declared.... I shipped alot of guns and supplies for them too and they were 53% Fascist at war end.

What was the end result of all that? Did France fall? Did Italy and/or Hungary?

You should be able to invite them anyway because you border them through Norway.

If their government is fascistic, you have shared border through Norway, and / or use Diplomatic pressure mission, you should be able to invite Finland into your faction even though you are at war.
