While I agree that Järpehag's music could use a bit more punch here and there, I find the more martial tracks from the last batch a bit too pompous to my taste. They are probably fine at the launch of some major defining event, like — random example — when you declare war as Carthage against Rome; that is maybe once or twice per campaign, but I wouldn't have them playing as frequently as the rest of the soundtrack. As others have already said, the original soundtrack creates a contemplative atmosphere befitting the players' roaming around the Mediterranean Sea. (Yes, I'm pretending you don't actually exist, Eastern and Northern parts of the map.

As a point of comparison, some of my favourite tracks are 'Oceanus', 'Karthago', 'The Punic Wars'.
