I have no idea how to pull this little march off. Polands neighbors of note are all it's friends, with muscovy unable to support my independance thanks to lithuania being in the way. Hungary is more than willing to help, but gets hulk smashed by poland and lithuania, while the teutonic order's contributions seem to be oddly negligable.

Austria. Austria is a prick who always stays 1 or 2 points away from supporting my independence. It's quite frustrating.

So, any tips other than "wait for poland to lose a bad war." That doesn't work, between it and lithuania they can always field enough troops to smash me.

Isn't dip rep increasing the chances of getting Your independence supported? if so, restart till You get statesman lvl 1 advisor, and Austria would help You.

I got a diplomat. It is still not enough. Whats worse, it seems like the support independence system may be bugged, sometimes people dont actually join my war.

Statesman gives +2 diprep. But not joining the war is a bug I think.

Restart the game until you see Bohemia, Hungary, Teutonic Order all hostile towards poland.
