Hello everyone,

Sry if its hard to read, i am Dutch, i hope you can help.

I have a problem with CK II, at the moment i am playing as the king of Frisia (independent),
The duke of Gelre had an revolt of a count in his duchy, that count became a duke, and got the gelrian revolt title.
I was the heir, so i thougt, if i kill him i will get the title and i can give the title back to my vassal. Thats precisley
what happened, i got the revolt title, and i am in control of the county, and cant give it back because its a special title.
So what do i do now?

Extra information:
The count was norwegian, thats propably why he could do that,

So just to clarify. You are the King of Frisia. One of your Dukes had a revolt. The count leading the revolt died and you became the leader of the revolt? Are you still at war with your own duke?

This looks like a bug. The revolt title should have dissolved at this point. You probably use the console (if you're not in Ironman) to give the county title to yourself and then give it to your duke. I don't know what to do with the revolt title. I doubt you can destroy it but check that out. Other things to try is to use the console to give the revolt title to another count of that duke, which might force him to revolt and war. Don't know. Have fun playing with it.

Thanks! I really appreciate anyone who wants to watch me talk for 15-20 minutes ;-). My mic is actually pretty mediocre, especially when recording high frequencies (like when my voice cracks :) ). I spend a decent amount of time in post trying to normalize the audio but some of my older stuff definitely has some audio issues. I keep trying to improve and hope to keep making better content, and I'm always looking for feedback.

Anyway, not trying to hijack your thread. I am really curious if you can destroy that title.

I tried a lot of things, but i think the main problem is that i do not know what the title id is,
i tried: <d_gelrian_revolt> but it said it was an invalid title. (is there a id for timular titles?)
As command i used : titleowner, and i tried to give the title to another count under the duke of Gelre i think that should be the right command to
use, correct me if im wrong.
Tnx, for all the effort ;p

Alright, lets try to get a little more complex. If you open up your save file (you'll have to decompress it first) you should see something that says player id=<number> near the top of the file. This is you. Now, if you search for holder=<number> you should get to a point where it is listing your titles. One will be k_frisia but if you keep going, you should be able to find your temporary revolt title with its proper name. Best of luck.

You can use either titleholder or give_title. give_title gives the character all the subholdings and vassals as well as the title. titleholder just gives them the top title.

It should just be a zip file if compressed. You can rename it with a .zip extension and then open it.

I have not a clue about what is wrong, why i cant open these .ck2 files, of .zip files, winrar wont open them, 7zip wont open them. They all give an error and i cannot find
anything on the internet, i cant decompress the file for a reson and putting .zip behind it doesn't change anything. Translated from dutch the error message is like;unused method in
frisia-959 etc. .ck2. And another error: no folders to decompress.
If i open the files with Notepad ++ i get this stuf:
PK.ETX EOT. NULNULNULNULNULNULNUL URPOV that kind of stuf.

''When you save, on the right side there is a box that says "compress save", uncheck that box and your saves will be editable again.

If found the title in the save file, its called Gelrian Revolt, so i typed; titleowner <d_Gelrian_Revolt> <540806>, but it still says invalid title, then I tried lots of variations and
on one; titleowner <d_Gelrian Revolt> <540806> it said invalid argumentations.
