I need some assistance here. My google fu isn't working. How can I get the Voidspawn to actually hatch? Console commands, mods, savefile editing, I'm willing to do anything. The only things I've found out about the Voidspawn so far is:

1) People mistakenly believe the planet must be colonized. It does not. The seismic rifts will appear regardless as long as you control the system.
2) The Voidspawn's survival rate is decided on galaxy start. I do not wanna restart until I can find a method of guaranteeing the Voidspawn's successful hatching.
3) The planetary IDs "hatchling_egg" "space_owner_triggered" and "egg_interrupted" are tied to this being the planet it will spawn from (set at game start), the timer that counts down to the tremors event and the stillbirth (which happens 47 days after the beginnings of the tremors) respectively. Additionally, the system ID for the voidspawn system is denoted as "guardians_init_hatchling". I'm searching for the counterpart of the "egg_interrupted" ID. I didn't actually count the time from when I built a starbase until the tremors started but I believe that it's an MTTH for the tremors to start after taking the system, not a set timer like the stillbirth event is.

So what I need help with here is; does anyone know how to turn the "egg_interrupted" into some form of successful ID that I can replace in the savefile to have the voidspawn continue hatching? Or maybe someone know how to check if it will survive or die at game start, possibly editing the savefile directly to change this outcome? Savescumming for it to be born is impossible, I've reloaded my save over 20 times now and it's always stillborn. I'm begging here, any help would be appreciated.

Select a planet and use this console command:
Code:
event distar.5006
This would crack a planet and create the voidspawn yes, but it wont continue the event chain. It's the last resort option I'll use if I cant find out how to swap the trigger ID. Might just need to run games until I find a galaxy where it will spawn and peek at the IDs there. Thanks though ^_^

Did some more digging starting a new game and found a second trigger on the planet with the hatchling egg
"hatchling_will_trigger" also added at game start. Will try to apply it to my existing save and see what happens.

Edit: It works so long as you add this trigger before the Tremors event has begun. I suspect the initial tremors event checks if the hatchling_will_trigger effect is available to decide the outcome of the event. Happy days, a monstrosity is now born!
