I'm playing as The Knights. My capital is in the Caribbean, I'm a theocracy.
The revolution spawned several decades ago and I initially crushed it twice in Spain and France. Then I gave up when the revolution target moved again and I found it too tedious.
So I decided to wait for the revolution disaster to trigger in my country...which isn't happening.

The game is over. The last 50 years were absolutely boring since most my army were rebel hunting and I couldn't do anything.
So for the future: why didn't the disaster spawn? Only "Internal conflicts" shows as possible disaster. Is it because I'm a theocracy?
Whatever the reason: PLEASE rework the revolution!

First of all, do you have the Emperor DLC? If the answer is no, the the revolution disaster can't happen for you, because you need your capital in Europe. If the answer is yes, then the revolution has to have spread to 20% of your development (which is true for you), and also to your capital. If it didn't reach your capital, the you won't be eligible for the disaster.

Then, if you are eligible, you need one of these conditions:
- stab lower than 0
- at least 50 loans
- be bankrupt
- have at least 10 war exhaustion
- have negative prestige
- be the strongest European nation with the highest development (not applicalbe in your case with your capital outside Europe)
- have active revolutionary rebels, with at least 8 provinces occupied, including your capital

If you satisfy the above conditions and at least one from above the disaster can start ticking up.

Thank you. I didn't know it needs to reach my capital. And yes,I have all DLCs.
Does the revolution even spread in the new world? Looking at the map it doesn't seem to.
What a waste of time...

PS: I don't get the "counter-revolution" modifier when at war with the target (and neither the negative "revolution" modifier).
Which means my country would collapse to separatists if I pulled all my troops vs. Commonwealth. They have a larger army.
