Ming + tributaries: there are two ways; one become a tributary and eat the tributaries and save Ming for later date. Or attack a tributary so you can get a border with Ming and cycle between eating Ming and eating tributary + white peace Ming (chagatai would be a good target)

europe: eat them?

colonies: just full annex the overlord and get their colonies for free.

Also, don't forget that year 1687ish is a game changer : Imperialism & Nationalism + Admin efficiency make you godlike.

Seriously, go and watch Reman on Youtube doing a Ryukyu WC, he is also giving tips for common WC (if he can do it with Ryukyu, you can do it with Ottomans. It's all about patience and micromanagement, exploitation of opportunities and time gaining. Moving armies take a lot of time.

Blasphemy! Everybody knows that the bigger your name appears on the map, the closer you are to WC.

OP: I'd take Admin/Influence first or second, Quantity/Humanist third/fourth, Offensive fifth. You have a few vassals to feed early game (Persia, Syria), and then you need to deter coalitions, that's what Offensive is for. Again, when playing from 1444 to 1650, be very selective on what land you want to take because after 1700, coring is considerably cheaper. Don't take horde's land (unless you want to stop Russia), take land to steer trade to your home node.

eat India, become tributary, eat tributaries and focus on 2 regions in corners of europe; choose between Iberia, Great Britain, Scandinavia, Russia. Improve with everyone in middle and avoid coalition. then eat HRE last with +8 siege bonus from 40 cannons LAST.

don't focus on low development land, that was wate of time and coring.

@Berkolok Hope you're not playing on speed 5! It wastes so many days that you could be doing stuff and makes it impossible to manage multiple fronts well, even with lots of pausing.

I'm surprised @atwix didn't mention that ;)

i actually did admin religious humanist successfully (influence 6th), but ofc everyone wanted my head so admin influence religious might be better

Do the wc again but dont grow into russia kazan uzbek and such (nothing north of your starting position). Focus east, relentless push east, hit ming.

The only things not east you should take are the mamluks, gulf of aden and zanzibar.

Anywhere possible, set up trade companies.

People need to stop eating Horde land.

Should be more specific. Samarkand --> Persia is pretty good for Ottomans, Astrakhan --> Crimea --> Constantinople is okay too (especially with the event for Crimea, which you can force militarily if they don't hand it free). Not priorities but something to do while waiting on other truces. There's no reason he can't have those and all of India/Zanzibar by now with merchants to utilize both paths.

Rest of horde land is less useful and can be ignored, though I like to smack Muscovy around when they look weak because it's an isolated pocket AE-wise.
