Don't hate the dove, hate the person who killed it!

It's not necessarily that it's a dove, it's how discordant it is with the other icons. It looks bad because it doesn't fit in with the established aesthetic.Glad it's not just me who thought the Dove icons were awful.
Have like, swords or alien skull pips or something. Even a simple scroll icon would be clearer?
Is it clear if you do not know it is supposed to stand for CB?Why not a green sword leaning to the left for my CBs and a red sword leaning to the right for CBs against me. Clear meaning at a glance. And would fit better with excisting icons.

How do a Green and a Red sword transalte to "casus belli" for you?Yes.
The rival icons work the exact same way, a simple lightning bolt turned left or right. Easy to understand. Literally never seen anybody complain about that one or express difficulty understanding it.
Yeah, rivaled by and rivaling are not immediately clear either.Just yesterday I was thinking that if people wouldn't automatically rival back once the other empire does it first, I'd have no idea which is rivaling which. Left or right alone doesn't tell me anything.
What's up with all this dove hate, have you never heard of space doves?
How about a dead dove impaled on a bloody sword?
Hey guys, if you're having UI problems I recommend "Dove Essential Nourishment Body Lotion".

I would say:
Green is: you can go to war (wich fits)
Red is: you can not go to war (wich does not fit)
I cross Traffic Lights regularly. I was thought: Red means stop.Red is: Danger, they can go to war with you.
Then all Paradox has to do is make a dead dove icon that fits in with the style of the other Stellaris icons and everything will be fantastic!I polled a number of people, who don't use these forums, on what they would think a dead dove icon in stellaris would mean. Every answer I received was some variety of casus belli.
