I just integrated about 4 colonies worth of pops for resettling as slaves, and no matter what I try it's impossible as it will crash to desktop every time. I want to play your game PDX. please let me.

No mods. Total Vanilla. No reason this should be happening. it's not even midgame yet.

so this is PC build i.e, Windows or Mac and your system isn't stressed to run Stellaris?
your best bet to test the actual save game file... easy to do with Gog but a problem if you play ironman on Steam

without the actual file you will need to give us a lot more details but crashing normally means a sync error i.e, the game has been paused too long and gone out of sync with itself... yes even if you have a good system because its badly coded with all the junk bolted on over the years

are any of these slaves types that are already in your empire i.e, you have humans as special workers and some of these new slaves are just human slaves or robots/ anything set to purge?

I reported this on the bug forum, more than a month ago. If you are careful you might avoit the crash. But they haven't fixed it still. I finished my game, and stopped playing with slaves.

Sadly it is necessary to double check. It's not uncommon for someone to claim a vanilla bug, then reveal it was one of their 17 mods that they didn't think would affect it.
Well I know for a fact it was vanilla with zero mods, not even ones that are compatible with ironman and achievements
