Look at that why do I need to have every vassal count or above +-10 for infidel ? I mean my character is Basileus and it's just about a VOTE.

Btw if I have title revocation laws in basileia why cant I revoke Sicilia and Georgia ? (which don't have title revocation law):mad:

this shit is really gamebreaking

You probably already modified a law during that char reign. You cannot change laws as you want and now probably have to wait for his successor to change a law again; this is why you have all those conditions impossible to fulfill at the moment. I do not mind it, that gives more historicity to it. It often took decades or even centuries to strengthen royal control over the vassals. being able to modify laws as you wish would not be fun.

you can only change one crown law with one reign and well I haven't changed one yet. I didn't change any crown law in a whole century. and you know that has got nothing to do with royal control. i want to introduce infidel revocation law and that has got nothing to do with any control. every vassal is happy when he can get more land, instead i get a -5 law malus because they like infidels so much (right?) and have to get every vassal to -10 ...

You know wats also really stupid ? if you want to change succession law vassals may not fight. It took ages because there was always a war going on between them. changing kings peace crown law for switching my succession? thats unrealistic

Why would the Pope like you? He considers you a heretic, a foreigner who is holding his rightful territory, and a dishonorable tyrant who has broken the feudal contract to boot.

I can agree that the opinion requirement is annoying, by the way. I can understand for succession laws, where there is no vote, but not for crown laws. What's wrong with just letting them vote no if they don't like me?

As for Sicilia and Georgia, if someone is holding those titles, then their crown laws apply to those de jure vassals. The Byzantium crown laws only apply to non-de jure vassals if their de jure liege title doesn't exist.

Why is a Catholic Pope your vassal anyhow? Get him replaced with an obedient Orthodox Patriarch...

If it's just that guy you could have him killed, otherwise purge the province of heresy and hope for him to convert, or just bite the bullet and revoke his province and give it to an Orthodox Greek and give up on passing the law just now. That's what I'd do anyhow.

It is not our fault you are unable to comprehend how this game works. Why you felt the urge to give some catholic a piece of land is beyond me.

It's not my fault that the restrictions are far from reality and the only reason they are there is because some people can't design the(ir) game properly. Or give me a reason why you can't change a law because someone doesn't like you (and ALSO it's none of his interest because the law doesn't affect him)

Yes, it does affect him. You can revoke his title since he's a heretic (Catholic).

Anyway, that pope doesn't seem to have any land to his name (I see only the Papacy and two ducal titles). Grant him independence, and usurp the two ducal titles from him (as I doubt he has any land in the two titles belonging to him).

I don't know how you got this bug. Under the list of titles the pope has, I only see two duchies. The Papacy is not listed there (as it should), and you are still his liege despite granting independence.
