A modifier gives it away, but which of these characters do you think made it through the legendary journey?
I'm really annoyed that this keeps happening: for some inexplicable reason the AI (always my kin, almost always my heir) just flat out refuses to go through the journey. Why? She had the "on a journey" (or whatever it's called, I forget) modifier. Her duel experience never changes. Then as soon as I complete she's loses that modifier.
I'll upload a save where I just finished the last duel but haven't yet received a bloodline.
AFAICT the AI doesn't get the choice to not go through the legendary journey. The AI has 3 different possibilities when going through journey: imprisonment, declining a duel, dying in a duel. She obviously didn't die, I never got any notice she was imprisoned (and if she was imprisoned it was a very short one because nothing happened to her that I could tell during the journey). If she declined to duel why does she still have the brave trait?
This happens in non ironman games as well. I know that the AI will, at least sometimes, go along the journey when you do because I've gotten notifications that the AI has killed someone in a spectacular duel. Sometimes when I've dueled at least four times I'll switch to the other character and they haven't even started the journey yet. I know because they haven't gone through one of the initial events where you get the option to upgrade your sword or get a skull cup and when I switch they immediately get the event.
Why does this continue to happen? One possibility that I can think of is that if the AI gives me a weaker artifact than I already have I give it or a comparable one back to an AI on the journey. I don't know if I do that every time I've run into this problem or not.
