Even with DLC, they start with, what, two or three provinces at most, if not just Thrace? They're going to die in most games. On the other hand they are receiving DLC - So we're back to square one.

And then the big question will be whether or not you want to rename all the provinces with Greek localisations or Latin ones.and this event has no perquisites, once you start the game you just click it and the power of the ottoman empire X 10000 is transferred to you, then you click another event and the whole world is a byzzeeee wonderland, and all the fan bois can post their empire to the post your empire thread and beat off to each others posts
Plenty of reason to release content for something that plenty will pay. For.From a business perspective there is no point in developing and releasing content for anything that nobody will play.
They're awesome because they're Romans but then they're Greeks and they're fighting Turks and there's all sorts of stuff about last stands I like and, and, and it's all so cool.but what makes it totally awesome?
Just how well-off was Byzantium outside of Constantinople, though? Egypt and the Levant seemed almost happy to slip out of Byzantine control and into the hands of the Caliphate, Italians seem to have loathed the post-Justinian empire, and I can't even remember whatever happened to Spania other than that it simply ceased to be.After that, it is largely about what personally floats yer boat. Byz is particularly strong on intrigue, the development of Christianity, east vs west, and being one of the few bastions of light in the dark ages. Obviously it also has particular heritage interest for Greeks and others in the area and for anyone in the orthodox tradition.
B-but I thought they were Romans! If there's anything I've learned, it's that the first thing that must be done in every mod is to rename Byzantium to 'Roman Empire' or even just 'Rome'. That makes them Romans, right? So then Latin's appropriate, surely.actually if they are true fan bois (and I am not they saying that they aren't) then they would want a greek localization knowing how much Byzantium hated the latin
Latin and Latins are two different things, though.then you might wanna read this Massacre of the latins
