Please change forum colour

As the title says. The Forum colour hurts my eyes. A, imho, crude mixture of a overlybright purple with pink mixed in? I am not sure.

I want to squint really hard as if i am beeing blinded by the sun.


The Contrast of text to Background is not very good either for me.

So please change to something less brigth/blinding. Thank you

This subforum's color scheme did not hurt my eyes, but I wonder if it is because I am on desktop when I viewed this subforum. Were you on a mobile device, by any chance, when you viewed this subforum? Curious if that made any difference. <insert the forum's missing thinking emoji here (tsk tsk, admin)>

I wouldn't say it hurts, but it is pretty awful. Amusingly enough, my main takeaway from the footage we've seen so far (aside from: oh great, it's basically the same tone and style as all those games ...) was "that UI looks pretty awful".

At least they are consistent about it, I guess.

Hmm, maybe a different shade of purple would be better? Like @TheGrinningMan (what are you grinning about? ;P) said, maybe could find a shade relatively close to that of the purple used in AoW4 subforum but not too close as to be too similar. Anyone else has suggestions to what shades of purple or violet to use here? You might also find this Wikipedia entry listing some of the shades of violet to be useful here.

Also, I forgot to mention that, on my Windows 10 desktop PC, I have f.lux app running, which may or may not have biased my experience here. I was using 1900K (candle) for nighttime lighting option.

In any case, accessibility and ease of use with interface is absolutely indispensable. I respectfully recommend that Paradox consider these feedbacks here.

Yes please, something easier to read like AOW4 forum has. Heck use the same theme as long as its easier on the eyes.

This shade of purple is definitely too light that it doesn't create enough contrast behind the white text.

I think it looks fine on tablet but a little washed out on desktop, so go figure. Anyway, perhaps a darker shade would work.

I have to admit, I do think the color is slightly too light, especially compared to other forums. It was a bit jarring to the eyes.
