Tanks should have their main gun accuracy go up from something like 16% at 1000m to more like 45-50%. Additionally, tank accuracy should increase with every shot fired. It will significantly alleviate a number of problems I think the tanks have exacerbated due to their inablity to hit anything. These issues are below:

-Overly weighted advantage of heavier armored tanks. Tanks that make flank attacks do not meet with the success they should because after they miss their first shot, enemy tanks can just turn their armor into them. I have seen ambushes from two sides at once be defeated because a tank had enough time to turn its armor towards one tank and then the other, because they could not hit it fast enough.

-Overly weighted effects of non-penetrating weapons. The inability of tanks to hit targets forces them to spend an inordinate amount of time shooting at targets in general. Because of this wasted time, it is easier than it should be to bring artillery or auto cannon fire to bear before the tank can either shoot a set of light vehicles or move out of the way. In general, the unreasonable amount of time it tanks tanks to properly kill targets keeps them in one spot for far too long, allowing a enemy player far too long to react. Entire offensives get held up agaisnt otherwise weak front lines because the tanks have to sit there and shoot at their targets for 5min.

It does increase with every shot fired iirc, though I do agree some of the accuracies of tanks/guns annoy me, such as the littlejohn being rather bad in accuracy for some reason. I would like to see the "light tanks" and armored cars get either a buff in accuracy or a veterancy bonus to allow for more accurate first shot firing.

Right now however at the accuracy 5-7 area accuracy dramatically increases iirc, while with 3-5 not so much.
