Please add some more ship types. Having only 4 ships are a bit few and some mods which add more types to the game are a little bit overdosed in my opinion. Please add them if possible to the next upcoming dlc. That would be great! Some more ship models would also be good to have.... (in terms of longer support)

Hints have been dropped about Titans being potentially buildable in the future...

Rather than having more military ship classes (Frigate, Battlecruisers, etc.), which I suppose would also be interesting if they were diverse enough, I would love to see more types of ships in general. Freighters, fleet tenders, scouts, bombers, mine layers, and so on. Drawing from Stars! for inspiration here, obviously, but I feel more ship and mission types would benefit Stellaris, too.

I'd rather they added more configurations for the current ship types than ad new types. More types doesn't really add anything.
Also this. This is something the aforementioned Stars! did very well -- allow me to build ships that served more than one purpose, or had some "alternate task". For example, a Scout hull with a mine layer module, or a destroyer with a cargo pod allowing it to invade planets as well as fight ships and star bases. Again, of course Stellaris isn't Stars!, but I would like to see the developers experiment with letting players diversify ship designs.

Dreadnough classe ship being late game ship extensive and long to build would be nice! Titans should be accessed only with rare/very late game technology and could be limited in numbers.

Maybe not necessarily ship classes, but bonuses and characteristics based on the modules selected during design, like an Interceptor Corvette that has higher combat speed than a baseline Corvette. Or overbalanced modules that make a ship more offensively or defensively minded. I've also previously championed making hangars available in more modules, including for Destroyers (Pocket Carriers). Of course, Strike Craft need some lovin' first...

I'd love to seeat freighters for trade and stuff. Tenders I'm not sure about as having to chase your already slow fleet with them could be a pain. Mostly though we should try and avoid anything that will add to more lag in game. Past mid game it keys pretty bad.

Just merge them into your fleet, or give them a follow order :) .

Like others said, I don't think the game really needs more ship types/sizes, what it really needs is more variety and options with current existing ships. New weapons and components that add different options, new ship sections for more variety/customization, and most importantly more Combat AI options to custom tailor a ships AI, rather than just having each size run the same AI.
Of course, this all sounds like something for a military-focused patch/DLC. I imagine such a patch would also address a solution to doomstacks, defense stations being useless, warscore and war strategy, ground combat enhancements, and who knows what else. Likely to be either the 2nd or 3rd expansion I'd bet (the other one being Trade and Diplomacy).
