PLC into Prussia to get rid of Sejm?

Sejm sucks and everyone agrees about that. So i thought something like this...

First you culture flip to Prussian which is pretty easy to do. Then you wait until you can form Commonwealth and turn reformed (which ever is first) and then you can turn into super Prussia that is a monarchy? Or would i be stuck forever with Sejm as Prussia?

You don't need to form Prussia to avoid the Sejm events, just make sure your primary culture isn't Polish.

Beware though that this will leave you with an Elective Monarchy government for the rest of the game, which may or may not be what you want.

The more conventional approach is to stay Polish, and eventually get the events that allow you to wage war on the nobility. Once the civil war is over, you become a bog-standard absolute monarchy with no special events or modifiers.

Issue for me with waiting until war with nobility is that it has to be 1600 or later

I don't. Some of the one-off events are mostly negative, but the ruler modifiers are positive half the time. If it wasn't for the loss of a diplomat from Pacta Conventa, I'd say it's a net positive.

Pacta Conventa only fires for monarchs with a stat of 1 or 0, since the minimum a local noble can have in a stat is 2, you will never get Pacta Conventa if you are able to ensure that the only rulers you get are local. Or if you manage to ensure that if you are ever in danger of getting a foreign ruler with a 0 or 1, you elect a local noble instead.

Foreign monarchs are one of the main draws of elective due to PU potential, IMO. Also worth noting that without Res Publica there's no such minimum.
