Till you touch another blob, and watch yourself get burned alive by mandate...

Only the ottomans could crack a +0.80 mandate increase and even then it can be simply negated by releasing a vassal on the border. The mechanics of MoH Ming are completely broken.
Just recently I was forced to defend against my own Alaska CN because it attacked my tributary. Not to mention the fake “wont join” when declaring a war against a nation with an allied tributary. Did I mention tributaries follow the same AE rules as vassals? I ate 400 development from Korea. Nobody bats an eye.

I dont find AI Ming to be much of a boss, with the harsh combat penalties from low mandate they have been a source of free manufactories in my games

Many suggestions lately about fighting big blobbing have revolved around spamming rebels or even forcibly losing provinces at 100% autonomy. What isnt modeled in the game one bit is logistics, except for some token attrition damage. It wasnt possible at this time period for china, ottos or other major powers to put their entire army in one spot, freely marching back and fourth where they liked on a year round basis.

Totally agree. Ming doesn't seem to fit the game, namely because of the lack of internal politics this game needs. Or in the least, a few events or mechanics to make Ming (specifically) more interesting and difficult, and the region more dynamic. There shouldn't be a country which has alredy won the game from the beginning. I think a nice example of this is Poland, you receive a lot land in the beginning but you have to pay that land by getting events trying to slow you down from time to time. The thing is, I don't know if this is possible without evolving into a sluggish rebel fest.

Just noticed after making a truce with Ming in 1630 - they had 13k gold in the treasury:D Not bad. Now I am not surprised why it shrugs off the lack of manpower so easily.

When Florry was playing on very hard, Ming had above 100k of gold, he left them with one province. Every now and then he was sending tax collectors in form of stack of 10k mercenaries that promptly has invaded and with 100% war score you can go up to 10k gold. Almost like an ATM. ;-)

As a side note playing ming was always a bit frustrating and boring. In EU III you were unable to even start a war if wrong faction was leading the empire.
