Scenario: I have a 13-inch MacBook Pro and a 27-inch Mac Thunderbolt display. Thunderbolt display is just a fancy name for a computer monitor. The default (out of the box) configuration for these displays is for the display to serve as a screen extension. So, after you open the box and plug the display into your Mac laptop you now have the laptop screen AND the Thunderbolt screen as space. You can move your mouse back and forth seamlessly between the two. CK2 does not really support multiple screens. You need to pick one. I can easily load and play the game solely on my small 13-inch laptop screen. Can I also play the game on the larger display? Yes and no. The Mac OS has an option to set the large Thunderbolt display as your primary screen. This will mean all software will by default be displayed on the large screen.
Problem: When I set the large screen as the default display and launch the game I have three issues. First, the CK2 game screen is a small square that only fills up a portion of the screen. Second, the picture is way-off alignment with half of the game screen missing past the top of the screen. Three, I can't seem to control anything or interact with the game (yes, I changed that one setting so that Steam is allowed to make changes to my computer).
Question: Is there anyway to fix this? The small game screen is likely due to the fact that the game resolution is much smaller than the Thunderbolt supports. I may be able to change this in the game settings, but I can't get that far since the interaction is frozen.
