The current situation
1.jpg

The main goal is to take as much territory as I can, not necessarily WC but as far I can get it. I've gone for Mamluks first and the eastern provinces to gain strength.

Now that I am by far the #1 power, my attention is also going west.

After having tamed Commonwealth, first immediate target is Muscovy, because I now border it and should prevent it forming Russia. They happen to be allied with Austria, which I've eaten into already. They're not Emperor anymore, so it should be easy.

How's my progress given the current date?
Are there things I should do?

If your main goal is blobbing, you are doing it slow. Going west as in attacking europe isn't the best thing for having lots of territory since it has high dev and HRE bonus AE, making blobbing slow.

Also I don't see the reason why you collect on every node. Aleppo and Persia should definite steering trade.

quickly get all the coast until you reach china (cots first), add it all to trade companies, no cb sulu if you need court and country and add it too (instant merchant), lots of money and merchants

Is blue allies?, because vassals are teal on my copy of the game. If they are allies thats one of your stoppers, as ottomans (or anyone big) stop using allies and go all vassals

If you will go to war with muscovy check if you can release novgorod as vassal before attacking, then you can reclaim a lot of provinces with it. If you attack austria, check whats the cheapest (development) province with hungarian culture that has a hungary core. Grab it on separate peace, next time you go to war with austria release hungary and reconquest its cores. Annex them after you got their cores.

For example when you warred the commonwealth originally you could have got a province that releases lithaunia, then used it to get all of lithuania in a couple of wars. It is a bit late now to do reconquest wars (cores are probably expiring or expired already) but try it next game.

This is an ottoman game that did pretty much your focus (europe mostly) at about the date to compare.
