So I was recently playing as Nat China, conquered all of China, beat back the Japanese invaders, even invaded the Japanese home islands. Before the surrender event I added war goals to cede all the territory listed including all of Japan's Pacific Islands, added conquest war goal to Manchuria, invaded Korea and Taiwan, etc... Here's the problem: After the event fired Japan kept a stripe of land in SE China as well as Korea and Taiwan. Worse I have a rather large army in Japan itself which I can't load on to ships because the ports are now back in Japanese hands post-surrender event and they're slowly dying from lack of supplies. Naturally, Japan will not give me access to withdraw my troops nor can I redeclare war as we're now automatically in a truce period. What can I do to get my army back intact and how can I convince Japan to give me back my cores which I've already conquered once? This is more than a little frustrating.
