Playing after 1947

I have recently bought the game and have enjoyed it very much, but when I finished the 1936 scenario at December 1947, I got a pop up saying I won. Nevertheless, I could still play into January 1948, the problem was that the pop up saying I had won wouldn't go away.

So my question is: how do you get rid of the popup?

Wait, why does the Ai go dead in a no time mod? Also could you please link me to one of these mods?

Its funny because now I just ignore that popup and move it around, so currently I'm playing in June 1948.

Okay, when I played up to January 1 1949, the time stopped going. I stayed at 0:00. What was strange was that my units continued getting upgrades, but the game stopped progressing.

How do you fix this?

Try editing the saved game

Scroll down a bit and change year to something else.

My game's start date was 1949 January 0, so I changed it to 39. Well my game's date changed to 39 too. But everything else is still the same so it is okay for me, thanks a lot.

One question though, If I do this, the AI stayes the same, right. The second post in this topic claims it worsens.

I meant that you should edit the end date, but if it worked, good!
How the AI will react I can't tell. Perhaps normal, perhaps as if it where 1939. The events will come back however.

Wait I do have a problem, first I changed the end date like you said, but nothing happened. The game's timer still did not move. So I changed the start date, that worked.

The problem was though, when I tried to move some armies that were reorganizing in 1939, I got the black box stating that they will reorganize until 7:00 January 1 1949, 10 years!!!

Part of the issue I think is that the game was suppose to end in January 1947. But I ignored the message saying I had won and played for a year with it on my screen. Then as soon as 1949 came, my timer stopped progressing.

What is interesting is that before I changed the end date to 1958, the end date was 1948, month = january, day = 0, hour = 0, actually before my startdate.

When the year was changed to 1939, I had changed my start date to year = 1939 (not shown in this quote).

So what should I do to make the armies act normal, or continue past 1949,to the 50's, which would solve the problem with the armies?

Edit- when I say startdate I mean the one below global data.

Try to change this back to what it was:

The change this to:

Only a guess, but it's worth a try atleast

Didn't work, what happened was that the timer was at 2:00 January 2 1949, then when I pressed start game it went back to 0:00 January 1 1949, like before stopping the time.

Honestly if you really want to play the game past 47 why not buy Doomsday and Arma....

You will get a much richer experience with it.

Nevermind, I found a mod that lets me play until 2199, but thanks for the help.
