Yeah, i never watched games of thrones, but after reading his short description on wikipedia that describes most of my zoroastrians pretty well.
I kill my sons, most of the time, to make the perfect one inherit, or to avoid sucession problems.
I marry my sisters/mother AND then my daughters AND then my grand-daughters (by marrying i also mean, taking concubines). If some woman gets past 45, she is put aside. No use for closed-factories (well my aunt was an exception, i kept her around till she died of old age around 72).
Inbred rate is pretty high, and most of my off-springs coming from my grand-daughters are mostly inbred.
One funny thing, is that my current ruler is on his 90's, is maimed and infirm. He still pops babies here and there.
Also, i kept having sons out of marriage with one of my daughters who was married with one of my sons. He always thought the babies were his, so, no problem. Still, funny.

I never thought of abusing the concubine system like that!
Nah Walder Frey challenge would be better. Have as many children and grandchildren as him oh and kill your liege in wedding as bonus.

In the MP game "The Gold Odds" I have been marrying only within the family for the last sessions just because I am having problems with succession in my irish norse kingdom... I think last time I looked, my grand mother was my aunt or something like that. Don't remember the details, but it's two sisters, one was concubine and one was my wife. And I reused one of them as my new heirs wife.
Why not both ? Have as many children and grandchildren as possible and marry them !

What? There's no limitation that I know of, the other day I got about 12 children, all of them still alive. Granted, I killed off my wife as she got old and got a new lustful one.
Did some of your children die? Afaik 9 living children is the maximum. But I hope to be wrong. My last 50-ish year old ruler with three young concubines didn't pop out a single child after he had nine.
Was your character an emperor? Afaik the max number of children depends on the rank of the person. 9 for kings, etc.

Correction, there is a limit decided by various factions, but you can circumvent it by having several unborn ones at the same time. Which is probably what happen in our game.

Once in the GoT mod I had more than 60 (or was it 90?) bastards as my Reachman King of the Iron Throne. That "visit chambers" decision is ridiculous. I wish I still had the savegame, it was awfully funny to see so many overlapping portraits in the children tab .

Events and decisions are something completely different. With a broken decision like that you could probably pop out hundreds of children. Those restrictions - if they exist - do not affect children that you've aquired this way.
Is this decision still in AGOT? In my last serious AGOT game I had a hard time spreading my dynasty as 9 out of 10 children died due to stillbirth. Very bad design choice. I think they have toned that down a bit in recent versions. Back then a wife would give all their children the moon-tea treatment if she disliked her husband. Even if that husband was the Ironborn king of 3/4 of the world and that child would be his heir
