I do not live in "the arctic". Sure Minnesota might be cold sometimes but ARCTIC? no. that's beyond the wall up canada-way. Your tooltip says it's devoid of vegetation. Have you ever even been here? I'm sure its scandinavianesque aside from the lack of real mountains. I mean we have some small ones, but we have forest covering the north and plains and oak savanna in the south. We've got moose and wolves and bears and loons to serenade you to sleep. We've got giant rats known as deer all over the place we have so much vegetation. And we've got the wonderful boundary waters that is unlike anywhere else, and that's way up to the north, and it's just trees and water as far as the eye can see. This is not the arctic. Perhpas you can say, maybe around the great lakes (although just make it so they get harsher winters, it's not arctic there either!). But you went further and included the headwaters of the Mississippi, the province known as "Minnesota" in your arctic climate map.
Secondly, as a native you can get the "improve fortifications quest". As it said "Earthen Rampart" and it's similar to "Earthworks" I took the quest. My fault for clicking it, but it's impossible until I reform the government.
Thirdly, I took 75% of the natives in the game and put up like 10 colonies. it was 1580 or some where abouts before I was able to reform my government because no europeans would venture to North America. While the stuff you added was fun, you still end up waiting for like 80 years before you can click the "Reform government" button. Still. When I clicked it, I liked it. The jump in technology put me 6 behind the europeans. I still have native troops, but it skyrocketed me.
Number Four, which is actually more of a question. Westernization. Am I to understand that I do NOT lose the monarch points when I click the button? Do I lose monarch points to 999 max? I'm thinking perhaps it's the second one, so I spent on a lot of ideas in preparation, but I'm not sure. I need to get my tech to lag behind the english to westernize anyway. Which is odd to say...
Fifthly, I went on a journey across the sea to the old world and no one would give me fleet basing. My expedition was lost trying to return. I feel like perhaps it's a little harsh. I mean, wouldn't they love to meet someone totally new and exotic like me, the Ojibwe of the great lakes, conqueror of north america? And my allies the English won't even give me harbor. I was going on a diplomatic journey let me stay.
In the sixth place, so many natives died conquering the creek. Like I think something on the magnitude of 100,000 men were lost all told both sides. I feel like this is a bit insane, for lots of reasons. I'm not sure what's going on there, but men would just get slaughtered left and right. I had a giant bank account and so i just threw more mercs at the problem until it sorted itself.
Seventhly, annexation of vassals who move around breaks annexation
8th, I really like having a colonist.... But I really think I shouldn't have a colonist as a native. Or perhaps, the colonist takes longer based on how many provinces you have, since you are thinning your population rapidly.
Finally I just played for like 8 hours straight, so, I mean, I like your game. But it's not arctic here >.<
