Or in that case, supporting the war effort of any country in the Balkans. You can rest assured that there will be no shortage of Russian "volunteers" going to Serbia.
I sure hope all countries are really playable, not like in HoI were you could play any country, but there was nothing to do with bhutan or such. In EU2, every country is really playable... And I want lot's of events for everybody!

I will do some reading.
I really hope in this game America will have trouble colonizing or building an empire other than westward expansion. After the Spanish-American war [what is this war called in Spain???] when we acquired the Phillipines, Puerto Rico and Cuba, there was much uproar and debate in society whether or not Imperialism and domination over foreign people violating our democratic principles.

I would like to play the american natives and fight the USA, or maybe I'll give Mexico or Brazil a shot. Or are those more or less medium countries? I am not sure..Mexico was pretty powerful in this period but went through a steady decline.

I would like to see Deseret(Utah) as a revolter state and perhaps a playable minor. Just for fun sorta like texas

And, no I wouldn't play any "minors" (PC:non-european non-major powers
), except maybe China or any South American one.
I want to play Norway - in personal union with sweden from 1914 to 1905. In fact. I want the option to baptize our national liberty in a pool of blood - war with Seden in 1905.
It m ust also be possible to play a Polish revolter in 1863 - just to see if he will succeed. And an Irish revolter to suimulate the fenians. And of course the Sepoys and the Taipings.
Other playable minors shouidl include Chechnya and the other Caucasian lands, all the German states (World conquest with Reuss, the younger line !) and of course West Africans like Dahomey, Ashanti and Benin.
There is absolutely no reson why the Sioux should be excluded from the game. Just too bad the game starts after the ethnic cleanisingt of Indians from the southeast.

Of course, we've debated the Indians many times on the EU2 forum ..... They didn't settle on the land and didn't have any form of central government (etc etc)
.... they could be in, for fun, but they never were "nations" in the sense in which they appeared in EU2, and even less so in the Victoria era.

The British dominions should not be considered independant any time during the period covered by Victoria.

I'd tend to agree for 1835, but by the 20th century? The "white" dominions had gained quite a bit of autonomy / independence by then. I'd like to see that reflected in the game.
