Why do I get the feeling that you'd get the same sort of enjoyment from those CK2 MP games as my older brother would playing his Tekken3 on PlayStation back in the day? GO GO BUTTON-MASHING POWERS! ...Lose-Win ratio 17:1!

Kallocain got the highest score, but SolSara may have expanded the most, plus transformed Bohemia into a kingdom. Johan also expanded nicely from a one-province minor to a large duchy (though most of it came from inheriting his father). Funny side note is that Johan wasn't planning on playing OPM Baden, he was just clicking around on the map when King suddenly started the game
. Two of our visiting fans both started in Poland and spent a lot of the time fighting and plotting against each other. Then one of them broke out of Poland, joined the HRE and thought he would launch an attack against the Polish crown from there, only to find himself now attacked by several of the other HRE vassal, King and SolSara inculded... Our third guest played as Lombardia and found out the hard way that mercenaries are very expansive and wars hard to win. It took him three tries before he could subdue Mathilda of Tuscany. All in all it looked like a fun session.

I was sad when I saw one for which I could have apply but to see that the legal time to resign my current work was kinda too long to match the desired starting work date.
That's me with the purple sweater, playing Lombardia. Haven't really played the original CK that much, I've always preferred Vicky, EU and HOI. But I must say CK2 will certainly change this.
Not too easy to get into in the beginning, but that is probably because it is a bit difficult to learn a game while playing MP with devs and not having the possibility to pause the game at all. But after a while I was marrying away daughters left and right, setting up plots and expanding lombardian influence over the northern italian peninsula.
It was great fun!
What speed was the game played? And did you find that readily manageable?
I think we played at three stripes. It was manageable most times, except at beginnings of wars. Then I would have liked to pause to raise and organize the troops.
