Plans for a strategy guide?

Hi everyone!

Since the game is pretty complex and the manual (although very useful) is far from exhaustive (where are the tables?)and since this probably the best game I ever played (No joke!), I was wondering whether there were plans to write a more extensive strategy guide that would bring some more light on some obscure mechanisms of the game.

If I get the time I'll produce some tables for you. However, that some things like unit costs for example aren't statics but depends on many varable things like techlevel and stability and maintenance setting. These can't be put into a table it wouldn't be readable.

Most obscure mechanisms was actually explained in the Manual. I am a bit curious of what you miss. Perhaps I can fill you in.

Strategies... Well no. I don't think so. The Forum and the AAR's are filled with Strategies and Tactics and there is very little time over for such things. I have great faith in you gamers and that you will share and spread all you marvellous feats. And of course the betas...The Princes of the Spanish Main, those Kings of the New World...

yes there are a lot of different ideas concerning strategy on the forum. i know how to play the game and i cant even read the manual!
