Looking good; but if we are to start the planning of the city, we'll need a shot (close to) direct from above that shows the entire map, as well as a similar shot of the main valley area (and a few surrounding mountain plateaus). That last shot is close to what we need, but it should be in the default view, and from a more upward angle, to make it easier to plan the districts.
Btw could you flatten the southern coastal mountains (on the right in the last pic) a little, to make room for a nice oil-harbor? There's no need for it to be aesthetically pleasing; we can pretend that some rocks have been exploded to make room for the harbor.
EDIT: Ah! There's oil in the West now. Hmm, that certainly means a change or three in my plans. Interesting, since now the Oil and Ore industry kind of conflict, in that their traffic arrangements must run through the same area. I will get to drafting a new plan (unless an oncoming family visit torpedoes this effort. -.- Ah well, I'll just use the night for it then!
